Dr. Marcia Bergtraum

Dr. Marcia Bergtraum is board certified in Pediatric Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.


Dr. Bergtraum received her Bachelor’s Degree in biochemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca New York, and her Medical Degree (M.D.) from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.


Dr. Bergtraum trained in Pediatrics at the Schneider Children’s Hospital, where she also completed her fellowship in Neurology. She trained in electrophysiology (EEG) and epilepsy at the Neurological Institute at Columbia University Medical Center in New York.


Dr. Bergtraum is on the voluntary staff of The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of the North Shore LIJ Health System in New Hyde Park, New York.


She is also the medical director of the Brookville Center for Children’s Services of the AHRC, which provides educational and therapeutic services to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
